First of all, you are working toward your goals because you want to be of service to others. You became a doctor, a lawyer, an author, a blogger, a real estate agent, a hairstylist, a makeup artist, a coach, a youtuber, a nail tech or lash tech because you wanted to help people.
You wanted people to feel better and have a better life through your work; therefore, choose to constantly serve, serve, serve.
It is also so important to find the joy in serving, celebrate the people that are happy to receive your service, the ones that follow, the ones that subscribe, the ones that sign up, the ones that give you a like or a comment, show gratitude by giving your 100% no matter what because this is your calling.
Catch the Lies
Be a gentle observer of your thoughts. Lies will float around in your brain without your knowing, lies like:
“Why do I try so hard?”
“Why bother”
“You don’t have what it takes”
“Are you really worthy of making it big?”
“This isnt working”
“No one even cares”
“Maybe I should do something a little more safe”
“What was I thinking, going into this”
You must know and believe, that when it is your calling, you can bet your life savings that all of the above are lies. Catch them and reframe them, like this:
“I choose to have fun in this process”
“What I am doing matters to me and the world receives it joyfully”
“I am the most indicated for this work”
“Everything is working together for my good”
Train your Brain to Believe
Sometimes it can be really hard for your brain to believe in your goals. Perhaps it looks like you are not making enough progress. At times it looks like nothing is working, and you may want to give up. This is the very moment in which you must believe that it is working on a cellular level. With every purchase you make, every content you post, every photoshoot, every piece of writing, know that you are leaving an imprint in the DNA of all who come across your work.
Tell your brain, “I am planting seeds, these seeds will soon bear fruit, harvest is on its way”.
