10 Powerful Habits of the Feminine Woman

A woman’s daily habits are the full embodiment of femininity, this is what helps her tap into her inner goddess. She is bold and confident, yet gentle and unshakeable.  Unbothered by the hustle and bustle of the world around her. She is in control of her inner world and the immediate sphere around her.

HERE ARE THE TOP 10 HABITS OF A GODDESS, WHICH YOU CAN START IMPLEMENTING, TODAY!

1. WAKE UP WITH A JOYFUL HEART

A goddess on a pedestal, wakes up with joy and intention. The time she rises is irrelevant. Some goddesses rise at 5 AM, some at 7AM and others at 9:00 AM. This is true femininity, and the ultimate goddess move.

As she wakes, she is ready to make the day beautiful and fruitful. She has a slow rise, she breathes in, thanks God for the gift of life. Furthermore, a goddess  her legs, and body, she looks at her bed, and at her room and she smiles.

If she likes to write, she journals, or prays, and meditates. A goddess might also prefer to drink coffee while watching the day wake-up and so she stands and looks outside her window. Most importantly, a goddess spends time with herself, with God or nature, before all else.

Personally, I naturally wake up around 6:15am and it works for me because I get to pray, and sometimes journal while having my favorite breakfast: eggs, bacon, toast and a side or rice… I know, random.

2. MAKE YOUR BED EVERY MORNING

This sets the tone of organization and cleanliness. A goddess is in control of her inner world and immediate sphere.

Sometimes the whole house is a big mess, but when her bed is made, she now has a safe haven that is fresh and clean. This makes the goddess very very happy. I make my bed, fluff the pillows, and add a throw pillow in the center. I have also found room sprays that smell like fresh linen, so I spray the room a bit, open a window slightly to let some sunlight in. It looks so picturesque.

3. DAILY GRATITUDE

A goddess doesn’t take anything in her life for granted.  She finds herself saying, “thank you, Jesus, for X”, with a smile. Whether it be, as she washes the dishes–she’s grateful for a home of her own no matter the size or the extra chores, or as she watches the kids making a huge mess, she’s grateful for the gift of family, or  as she’s paying the bills she’s grateful for the financial abundance that pays for Netflix, water, and power, Spectrum Internet and her MasterCard.

She embraces everything she has and finds happiness and love in every part of her life.

4. HAVE A GENERAL IDEA FOR THE DAY

A goddess is in flow but still knows the general idea of what the day will be. Will it be walking the kids to school, will it be pouring into her business, will it be a dentist appointment or returning  a phone call?

It is not like a goddess to plan the day out minute by minute– unless that makes her happy, but she has a plan for the day that will grow her and her family.

A goddess is not bound to anything, she is free, yet under control. If a check-list, an agenda, and/or an over ambitious time slot planner stresses her out, or makes her feel like a failure when something is not checked off, she must abandon this method of organizing her day.

A goddess is in flow, she is free, she is in control.

5. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

A goddess knows she has the power to create and live out her dream life, personal development needs to be a part of her daily routine.

She can spend 15-30 minutes reading a motivational quote by Jim Rohn, Garbrielle Bernstein, Earl Nightingale, Mel Robbins, a Proverb in the Bible, and journal on what feelings and thoughts this brings up.

OR she can read a chapter from her favorite book: The Bible, Everything is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T Harv Eker, The 7 Spiritual Laws of Success  by Deepak Chopra, to name a few.

By spending a small portion of her day working on her mindset, a goddess begins to believe that anything is possible for her, and she will surely go from dreaming of her perfect life to actually living it.

Personal Development is anything that calls for reflection and new small action steps.

6. MOVE YOUR BODY DAILY

Move, flow, glide. Not necessarily a full on workout, unless that is your goddess vibe.  A goddess makes deliberate and intentional decisions about her body, so there’s no need to force yourself to do something you hate for an hour a day. Explore and lean into something you love and do that.

Perhaps it is dancing, maybe it’s a yoga routine, maybe it’s a walk around the block or at the mall, maybe it’s a class at your local gym or maybe it’s a ride on the peloton (one of my fave ways to move).

A goddess is in constant flow, her body moves, her blood circulates, her heart pumps, she knows what is good for her and does it.

7. EAT HEALTHY & DRINK  40+oz OF WATER

A goddess resides in a strong, healthy and hydrated body. Eating healthy and drinking water is  her priority and is actually a lot more fun than most think. It is not always lettuce and cucumber. It is really about eating 4-5 times a day instead of skipping meals.

You can also cook at home rather than going through the drive-thru 2-3 times a week.

It is valuable to ensure there is a protein in at least 2 of your meals, meats, poultry, seafood, beans and peas, nuts and seeds. And some greens in at least one. I like to lump all my greens in a morning smoothie.

A goddess is intentional about what goes into her body and she makes it a daily habit to drink lots of water. It isn’t so much about a means to an end, the end being fat loss, when a goddess makes changes in her food and drink, the pounds naturally burn off.

8.HAVE A HOBBY

A goddess is fascinating, interesting, and captivating and this is because there are so many sides to her. A goddess has hobbies, things she does just for fun. She dives into courses and experiments with things that draw her attention and feed her creativity.

Perhaps she’s a dancer, a writer, or she gardens, draws, paints, makes jewelry, sews, sings, knits, takes photos, bakes…. The list is endless, she gets lost in her craft and this makes her so intriguing.

9. HAVE A SKINCARE ROUTINE

A daily habit of a goddess is caring for her skin.  She knows that her routine is a feel-good way to self love and care, Plussss, this is a huge contributor to her beautiful goddess glow.

Looking dewy and glowing starts from within, but a consistent skincare routine can definitely add to her radiance.

If you don’t currently have a skincare routine you can start slowly by doing a weekly face mask. I really enjoy Burt’s Bees refreshing sheet masks or Avatara hydrating masks from Target. Take it one step further and shop for a cleanser, a toner, a moisturizer, and an under eye cream.

If you’re excited and want to go big on your skin you can visit any beauty counter, at Ulta, Sephora or even Target to get a good recommendation based on your skin type.

10.SPEND TIME WITH LOVED ONES

A goddess makes it a habit to check in on family and loved ones. She may visit once in a while, call, or mail a note or flowers. This really feeds her nurturing side and grounds her  femininity.

Spending time with loved ones naturally brings out her softer, loving, care-taker side. Furthermore, her goddess energy is so powerful, that her mere presence heals and enriches those around her.
